WANTED MEN- Part 1 : E-BOOK

Wanted Men is a special short-story serial available free to my Patreon Community.  I am also making it available for purchase on my website.

Wanted Men — Part 1: The Capture follows Red Hudson, a hard-edged bounty hunter riding west-to-east with a single job: deliver Henry Statler alive and collect Morris Gaines’s money. Henry, a refined man in cuffs with a stubborn refusal to hunt and a quiet conviction that he’s been framed, should be nothing more than a payday—but the wilderness has a way of stripping men down to what’s true. As detours, cold nights, and uneasy campfires force them into proximity, Henry’s talk of freedom and a life “somewhere out there” starts to unsettle Red’s certainty, and the monster Gaines described begins to look nothing like the man beside him. By the time Henry finally confesses the real reason Gaines wants him ruined, Red is left with an impossible problem: how to stay the captor when the wanting is starting to feel mutual.
